TITANIC PEOPLEEZZZ - sorry for the informal title.....

Dear Readers,

Yesterday I talked about one of the biggest movies in cinema history 'Jurassic Park'. I felt I was excluding "Titanic" (1997) directed by James Cameron which was also a massive hit in the 90s.

So without further adieu....... Hit dem ball-sacks. Meaning "the sacks containing balls, for the kids, on the ship". Ok, ummmm..... Awkward!

To the left is a trailer to the actual movie (Titanic). For those of you who have been hiding under a rock, no offence, random says "None taken." Titanic is a film about a lower-class man who falls in love with an upper-class lady. This behaviour is condoned by the upper-class people, it turns out that the lady, Jack (Decaprio) falls in love with has a man who is getting married to her. Sadly, most of them die in the end. It's all based on a true story.

My Professional advice:
"If you have not seen this movie, go watch it.
Take a box of tissues with ya!"

In most of the exterior shots of titanic, the subjects (Actors) were filmed on a section of the 'Titanic' (re-replicated). This section of the 'Titanic' had a massive green screen/blue screen behind it. They were then, able to key them and, the section of the boat out! Which they were able, to then later put them onto a computer-generated-imagery (CGI) set extension. Back in the day, this shot was called 'The Million Dollar shot'. If you have a green screen at home you could try re-replicating the scene. With the technology, we have access to now, we could easily recreate something similar to the movie. Back then, it was a massive breakthrough. Thanks! James.

This video is a 30-minute long featurette. It has some behind the scenes footage. However, it has 'James Cameron' himself, talking! You can't turn this down! Check it out!

I WANT TO KNOW, WHAT YOUR FAVOURITE SCENE OUT OF TITANIC IS!

Here's my favourite scene; "I just think this is such an emotional and surreal scene. It shows the panic that is happening but also the sacrifice that these musicians are taking."

To the side, is an extremely interesting documentary. It has nothing much to do with filmmaking, but James Cameron put together a couple million dollars to invent a submarine, that would take them to the (Titanic) wreckage at the bottom of the ocean.
